Keeneo is an independent software editor established in France in 2005. The company is a spin-off of INRIA Sophia-Antipolis and benefits from one of the largest technology transfers, representing 120 man-years of R&D at the PhD level. With an international team of 14 people, the company’s headquarters and R&D center are in Sophia-Antipolis. The company’s commercial offices are in Paris, with sales representatives in Montréal and Pékin. Keeneo sells video analysis software to end users and systems integrators in the security market. These innovative, high value-added solutions improve the quality and reliability of video surveillance system services (no loss of vigilance) and decrease the operating costs for facilities, by increasing the number of cameras capable of being handled by a single operator. Keeneo has significant client references, some with more than 100 cameras deployed. Its well-known clients include Renault Technocentre, Sonatrach Algeria, the Paris and Nice airports, Nestlé, Toyota, Galderma, Air Liquide, etc. Client feedback was incorporated in the second major version of its flagship product, SafeZone, available on the market since September 2007.
